Putting together movie

Over the past couple weeks I have been filming my soccer tricks. I have learned quite a lot of new soccer tricks that I think my classmates will like. Some of the tricks I have filmed are head stall, double around the world, and knee bounce to around the world. I was quite pleased with completing these tricks. After I learned the tricks I started to film myself explaining the tricks and how to do them. The hardest trick that i have learned so far has been the head stall. It requires you to throw the ball in the air and catch it on your head and stall it there. I have been practising other tricks too which are at a pro difficulty. I have not mastered these tricks yet. I am also learning new things about imovie. Overall I think my movie will be great!

Today I am still looking up more soccer tricks that I would like to learn. I am also finding more websites that will be helpful.

Monday, April.26- Soccer freestyle specific tricks

So today I am bookmarking different soccer freestyle websites. From these websites I am looking to learn the titles of the tricks I will be learning and the basic concept of the tricks. I have found one really good website which I think will help a lot with my project. It is called "freestyle soccer.ca" It shows my a great variety of tricks and gives some tutorials.

Research summary paper - soccer freestyle

For my project that I am doing I will be learning a new soccer trick every ace class. I will make a movie of all the tricks that I learned and how to do them. In this movie I will also include special effects to enhance the movie. One thing that I will try to show in my movie is the actual practice and hard work that goes into soccer free styling. Everyone that I know thinks that after a couple hours of practice they could learn these tricks but it actually takes days to weeks to learn one trick. I will attempt to learn a variety of tricks, which will wow my classmates!

Freestyle soccer is a way of expressing yourself. It is practiced all over the world and is spreading, as we know it. The art of soccer free styling has really kicked up a notch in the last 5 years. Many tournaments are being held worldwide and people are even performing for money. You tube has had a great deal of impact on why soccer free styling is growing so rapidly. Many kids and teens are putting their skills on you tube and watching other videos and sharing them with their friends.

There are many tricks in soccer free styling. Head stalls, around the world, knee bounce, etc. As I said, there are many freestyle competitions. Nike held the first ever-major tournament. The winners of the tournament won a spot in a Nike ad. After that tournament the main one that has been running for 5 years now is the Red Bull Street Challenge. The top freestylers from each country get to compete in the finals for the Red Bull tournament.

There are real benefits in soccer freestyling. I believe that these benefits will help future generations. These benefits include dexterity, balance, increased concentration, Strength and flexibility, and motivation. Soccer freestyling is also a other way for kids to get in shape. Every time you see a new trick you want to know how to do it. It will make kids get outside and be active!

Soccer is the most played sport in Canada by children. It’s also the most played and watched sport in the world. It’s just a matter of time before it hits big in North America. There are many soccer leagues in Canada. I believe that these leagues are inspiring many kids to get better with there skills. When they want to improve their skills they will find that soccer free style is the way to go.

Overall my project will show my fellow classmates all the tricks I learned and how much effort and practice it takes to learn these tricks. I will also try to include the history of soccer freestyle in my movie. My final movie will be great. I look forward to actually learning all these tricks and being able to show my friends. This will be a really fun project and I think I will enjoy doing it.

Digital Citizenship

Question 1: I think that computers give us more connections because using programs like skype and msn we can contact family or friends that we usually cant see. Technology like cell phones also lets us connect to friends and family from wherever we are.

Question 2: Rule 1: read over an edit before you put stuff online

Rule 2: Don't go on websites that look like they good be bad

Rule 3: Dont leave bad comments on other people's work

Rule 4: Use clear easy to read words and not slang

Rule 5: Block bad people

Question 3: I think teachers should encourage multitasking because when the students get older and have a job and get married they will have no chose but to multitask. Its better to prepare them now then later.

Soccer Free Styling

I am going to be studying soccer freestyle and I will be making a movie showing all the new tricks I learned. I will go into all the key components of free styling and I will try to show how hard it actually is to learn the tricks. It will be very interesting!
